Baxter Park Dedication

Today was the much anticipated dedication of our brand new baseball/softball field named to recognize the wonderful things that George Baxter did for Camp Chingachgook. The dedication lasted about an hour in length and included some live music from the Deltones, a couple of great cheers from each village, the dedication ceremony and of course a homerun derby where everyone in attendance saw the first two homeruns hit! Ultimately the idea of the field came from the Alumni Association who officially presented it to the Campers of 2008 today, what a great gift!
