And they're off! Over an hour ago, hike groups left Camp in mass and started their three day adventure into the Adirondacks. We have several hikes going into the Pharaoh wilderness, the high peaks region, Tongue mountain range, Hurricane mtn, Giant mnt, sailing hikes, kayaking hikes, canoeing hikes (both war canoes and aluminum), and even a rock climbing hike! There is certainly something for every type of hiker at Chingachgook.
Today Liz, our hikes director, and I will visit several of the hikes in the Lake George area to try and catch glimpses of all the fun your kids are having out on hikes. The weather for today should hold up nicely and tomorrow, the action packed day for all hikes, is supposed to be absolutely fabulous!
